Martin Cardenas Talks About What it Takes For Him To Go Fast
Martin and his team executed a perfect weekend, earning pole position, leading the most laps and winning both AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike races during the Triumph Big Kahuna Nationals at Road Atlanta. Martin now has a 20-point lead on the rest of the field going into this weekend's Great Clips West Coast Moto Jam at Infineon Raceway.

HOLDEN THIRD IN SUPERBIKE QUALIFYING FOR M4 MONSTER ENERGY SUZUKI
Jake Holden made a most impressive debut for Team M4 Monster Energy Suzuki on Friday at Infineon Raceway. Standing in for the injured John Hopkins, Holden ranked near the top of the charts right from the opening AMA Pro American Superbike class practice and continued to run up front throughout the day.

M4 EMGO Suzuki And Cardenas Vindicated: AMA Penalties Overturned On Appeal
On Tuesday, December 4, 2007 the AMA announced the reversal of an earlier decision to punish Team Hammer, Inc. rider Martin Cardenas (riding under the M4 EMGO Suzuki banner) and Jordan Suzuki teammates Aaron Yates and Jake Holden for technical infractions at the season finale at Laguna Seca, held September 15-16. All three riders had the 20 points they were docked restored in the standings and their $2000 fines will be returned.

BLAKE YOUNG SIGNS WITH TEAM M4 EMGO SUZUKI
Motorcycle racer Blake Young has signed a 2008-2009 contract with Team Hammer, Inc., which races as Team M4 EMGO Suzuki in the AMA Superbike Series. Young, a promising rising talent on the AMA scene, will compete in the AMA Superstock and Supersport classes in 2008. The contract includes an option for the 2010 season.

DIFFICULT DAY FOR BARNES IN BARBER FORMULA XTREME
Saturday was a mixed bag for Team M4 EMGO Suzuki at Barber Motorsports Park. The squad excelled in the day's qualifying sessions, claiming three front row grid positions for Sunday's finals, but had a tough outing in the Formula Xtreme contest.

BARNES REHABS WRIST AFTER SURGERY
Michael Barnes of Team M4 EMGO Suzuki recently underwent a medical procedure on his right wrist to correct a problem with tendonitis. Cysts that developed after a previous injury caused the tendonitis. Barnes, a Florida native who finished third in AMA Supersport points for the 2006 season, had the surgery at University of Florida Shands Jacksonville Hospital. Dr. Steve Augustine performed the procedure on Friday, December 15th.

BECK TO RACE WITH TEAM M4 EMGO SUZUKI IN 2007
Michael Beck has signed a contract to race for Team M4 EMGO Suzuki in 2007. The 18-year-old second-generation racer showed promise in his first year as an AMA pro rider in 2006 and demonstrated that he is one of the most talented young racers on the AMA scene.

BARNES AND MAY CLOSE OUT 2006 ON THE PODIUM AT MID-OHIO
Team M4 EMGO Suzuki completed a tremendously successful 2006 AMA road racing season with yet another stand-out weekend at the Mid-Ohio finale. Riders Geoff May and Michael Barnes combined to score three podiums and secure a pair of top-three championship rankings on the final day of the season.

BARNES SHINES AS RAIN INTERRUPTS RACING AT MID-OHIO
Saturday was a long and frustrating day at Mid-Ohio for Team M4 EMGO Suzuki with multiple rainstorms interrupting the action. Recurring rainfall in the area forced a number of long waits for a dry track and there were only fleeting moments of on-track activity. However, in one brief appearance beforea third shower prematurely ended the day, Michael Barnes put on an impressive performance.
