Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki’s Tom Kipp finished a strong 4th on his GSX-R1000 in the Formula Xtreme race at Laguna Seca.
His teammate Josh Hayes finished 6th on John Hopkins’ 2001-Championship winning GSX-R1000, Chris Ulrich finished 11th by a wheel on his Superstock GSX-R750 and Marty Craggill faded to 14th with an electrical problem that made his GSX-R1000’s ignition cut out sporadically.
Craggill had qualified 6th with Kipp 10th fastest, Hayes 11th fastest and Ulrich 13th fastest.
Kipp was 11th in the Supersport race with Hayes 14th. Kipp had qualified 11th with Hayes 18th.
