Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki’s Tom Kipp qualified third-fastest on Saturday for Sunday’s AMA Supersport race at Sears Point International Raceway in Sonoma, California, while teammate Marty Craggill qualified third-fastest for the Formula Xtreme race.

Kipp turned a best lap of the 2.32-mile Sears Point road course at 1:35.287, for an average speed of 94.910 mph.

Craggill, who led most of Saturday’s Formula Xtreme qualifying session, was bumped back to third-fastest when two competitors pitted for one-lap qualifying tires in the closing moments of the session. Craggill’s 1:33.925, 96.587 mph best lap was turned on race tires and was within 0.5-second of pole.

Kipp was sixth-fastest in Formula Xtreme at 1:34.873.

The performance by Kipp and Craggill added to Chris Ulrich’s second-fastest in Superstock to put a Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki on the front row of every race the team has entered at Sears Point this weekend.
