Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki’s two-seat GSX-R1000 racebike has been giving lucky journalists, sponsors and various VIPs the ride of a lifetime this season at AMA Nationals. A unique tool used to expand awareness of the sport, the two seat Formula Xtreme machine has been a tremendous hit whenever the squad has unleashed the beast on Thursdays and Fridays before AMA Nationals.

Last weekend, Jon Oliver of dcsportbikes.com saw Virginia International Raceway the way few have, courtesy of the team’s Steve Rapp, winner of two Suzuki Genuine Accessories Superstock races this year. “I’ll definitely never forget it,” wrote Oliver of the ride on the 180 horsepower, 375 pound Suzuki. Oliver’s account of the thrill ride can be read at the following web link:

Bruce Wilkins of the Carolina Breeze website also took the challenge. “I marveled at both the high-technology of the ultra-fast bike, and even more so, Rapp’s professionalism and expertise under unusual circumstances,” Wilkins wrote. Bruce’s story can be read at this link:
