On March 31, AMA Pro racer Chris Ulrich was invited by Circuit of The Americas to give members of the Austin, Texas, media rides around the new road course on the back of his two-seat GEICO Honda CBR1000RR Superbike to help promote the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas MotoGP race.

Ulrich gave each guest a two-lap ride around the 3.4-mile course, reaching more than 160 mph at times, and that experience combined with on-board video footage provided by Ulrich’s team resulted in three major television network news programs broadcasting stories on the ride and one popular FM morning radio show host sharing her experience with her listeners in words and videos.
