Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki’s Chris Ulrich toughed it out and finished 16th in the AMA Superstock motorcycle road race at Road Atlanta despite abrasions on his back and strained hip ligaments suffered in a crash during qualifying the day before, after he had turned the 4th-fastest time. Those injuries added to problems he already had with his right shoulder, injured in pre-season testing and recently diagnosed as having impingment syndrome.
Ulrich is fifth in AMA Superstock series points after 4 of 10 races.
