Grant Lopez rode a Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki GSXR750 to win both Formula USA races at Pikes Peak International Speedway in Fountain, Colorado on Sunday, May 17. His teammate, Tray Batey, finished third in both races.

Lopez came from behind in both races, consistently turning 57-second laps. He took the lead midway in race one and with a few laps remaining in race two.
The two wins give Lopez the series points lead.
