Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki’s John Hopkins came from behind to finish a charging-and-gaining sixth in the restarted 600cc Supersport race at Sears Point. Hopkins was delayed in his charge forward by another rider who crashed right in front of him.
Hopkins was the top finisher on a Suzuki GSX-R600.
Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki’s Grant Lopez was a strong ninth in the race and moved up into the top 10 in points, now holding eighth with 36 points. Hopkins is 13th in points with 25.
