Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki’s John Hopkins won the Formula Xtreme race at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire, coming from behind to run down and pass the early leaders and crossing the finish line 0.553-second in front.
The win on a Suzuki GSX-R1000 vaulted Hopkins to 3rd in series points.
His teammate, Grant Lopez, still recovering from a separated shoulder suffered at Road Atlanta, finished 7th in the race on his GSX-R1000 and is 4th in points.
