Grant Lopez hustled his AMA Formula Xtreme Valvoline EMGO Suzuki GSX-R1000 around Road Atlanta at 1:25.8 during testing Wednesday morning.

The near-record time was turned on a race set-up and race tires, and it is still early in the machine’s development.

Team Valvoline EMGO Suzuki will continue to test at Road Atlanta through Thursday, April 12.
